AEMIT SOLUTIONS - "TOP-UP RECHARGE"
The
Top-up Recharge initiative defines the mechanism and procedure for on-line
updation of the credit information for service subscribers without using printed
recharge currency. Recharge of cash cards of cellular services can be quite a
hectic process. But with the VPOP range of products from AEMIT, this operation
can be automated with the aid of instant verification & one-stop recharge.
The main components of this application are:

The Recharge Terminal: This terminal deals with payments via smart/swipe cards
and payment verification & recharge operations are performed after consultation
with the central server.

Central Web Server: This web-based server interacts with the remote console &
updates the database accordingly.
The subscriber visits one of the various “Recharge Booths” in order to pay and
update the service credit information. The transaction is assumed to be a “Cash
Transaction”. Each Recharge booth is allocated a unique Identification Code with
the Service Provider.
Once the payment is made, the recharge booth operator dials the re-charge call
center and provides Subscriber’s information. Once the Pin Number is specified
and validated, the Call Center recharges the number & sends an acknowledgement.
The Recharge Booth may also be equipped with a Receipt Printer for documenting
the entire transaction (possibly in duplicate) for the subscriber and the
Recharge Booth Operator.
